Bio
Over 35 years of Consulting, Analytics, Sales, Project Management and Senior Management experience at the country and regional level spanning multiple verticals including Government, Telecommunication and Finance. He has been responsible for managing operations in multiple vertical market segments across multiple geographical locations and countries. Khuram has a track record in business strategy development and execution; rose to leadership positions at Teradata. He possesses vast experience in managing multimillion dollar businesses and markets. He has been involved in developing and managing alliances and distributors across the region. Have strong background in data and analytics and played a key role in initial development of NADRA and established the data monetization vertical at Telenor Pakistan for providing; data driven market research, targeted marketing and credit risk profiling services.
He has been part of various consultative bodies and forums including; Federal Government’s Vision 2025 Task Force on Information technology; National IT Policy Task Team for Cloud Computing and Big Data Analytics, Government of Punjab, Provincial IT Policy team, Member Corporate Advisory Council, National University of Science & Technology, 4 years as President PMI, Islamabad and, Chaired Pakistan's National IT Policy Task Team for Cloud Computing and Big Data Analytics. He is currently Member Steering Committee of National Center in Big Data and Cloud Computing. He also has served as Advisor to Fauji Foundation Board for Information Technology. He has a solid track record in business strategy development and execution. He is also Vice Chairman of Pakistan Software Houses Association (P@SHA).
Bio
Dr. Shoab Khan received his PhD from Georgia Institute of Technology USA in 1995. While in US he got extensive experience of working in several top-notch technology companies like Scientific Atlanta, Picture Tel and Cisco System.
In 1999 Dr.Shoab Khan co-founded an exciting startup named Communication Enabling Technology (CET). The startup raised US $17 Million in venture funding in 2000. CET with Dr. Khan as chief architect designed world highest density media processor chip for VoIP media gateways. For his innovate technology work, Dr. Khan has 5 US patents to his credit. Dr Khan has contributed 330+ international publications and a world class textbook on Digital Design of Signal Processing System published by John Wiley & Sons and followed in many universities across the globe. He is an Adjunct Professor of Computer and Software Engineering at NUST College of EME.
He is also a co-founder and Chancellor of CASE and CEO of CARE. CASE is a federally chartered primer engineering institution whereas CARE has risen to be one of the most profound high technology engineering organizations in Pakistan. The organization is catering for dire technical needs of defense and strategic organization by executing cutting edge technology including many national level projects relating to Cyber Security.
For his eminent industrial and academic profile, Dr. Shoab has been awarded with numerous honors and awards. These include Tamgh-e-Imtiaz Pakistan, NUST best teacher award, HEC best researcher award and NCR National Excellence Award in Engineering Education.
He is currently serving as a member & focal person of Prime Minister Task Forces on Technology Driven Knowledge Economy, Science and Technology and IT and Telecommunication, Former Deputy Chairman of National Computing Education and Accreditation Council (NCEAC) under HEC, Board Member of Shifa International Hospital and has served as Chairman Pakistan Software Houses Association (P@SHA) for year 2014-15.

Prof. Dr. Zia Ul-Qayyum, is a man of exceptional caliber with eminent intellectual standing, proven record of excellence and a source of inspiration for youth. He is the Executive Director of the Higher Education Commission since November 13, 2023, prior to which he had served as the Vice Chancellor of two public sector Universities in Pakistan i.e., University of Gujrat and Allama Iqbal Open University, Islamabad for a full tenure and has to his credit the establishment of a nascent campus of FAST National University at Faisalabad.
An alumnus of prestigious seats of higher learning, including The University of Leeds, UK, from where he earned his PhD; he has extensive teaching, research, and management experience of almost three decades. An educationist of national and international acclaim, Dr. Zia has to his credit conceiving, planning, establishing, and developing Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and R&D organizations. Apart from his administrative and management role, he has been an active academician and a keen researcher in the fields of artificial intelligence, data mining, machine learning, computational linguistics, and localization.
His contributions to the society include initiatives like Hum Pakistani in collaboration with different government and non-government organizations, establishment of Centre of Excellence, Seerat Studies, Iqbal chair on Tasawwuf and Muslim Thoughts; Community engagement and model-initiated programs like Free Education to Jail inmates, Transgenders, Free Education up to 10th grade in Gilgit-Baltistan, Fata and Balochistan, establishing Community Mental Health Centre at Gujrat, and many others. Dr. Zia has also been instrumental in taking measures to ensure access to education in far-flung areas and skill development in Gilgit-Baltistan in collaboration with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
In recognition of his academic and administrative excellence the International University of Kyrgyzstan and University of Leeds, UK awarded him the Honorary Professorship status. He has the honor to be the first elected president of COMSTECH Inter-Islamic Network on Virtual Universities (CINVU).
Dr. Zia in nutshell, is a creationist, technologist, administrator, and a strong believer of quality education with technological integration. His firm commitment and dedication are evident in the extensive services and significant contributions he has made to the higher education sector.
